GAHHHHHHHHHHH.

does it help to be a compulsive people pleaser? a conflict avoider dedicated to staying out of people’s way? Right now, I have so much anger boiling within me, that i am almost in tears, yet, i think by allowing people to step all over me helped the circumstances. This past month, I have been working on a partner english paper. So, we “met” three times to work on it…the first time, my partner was 20 minutes late, the second time, my partner was an hour and a half late, the third time, he txted me six hours later to tell me he was finally there. Then, I sent him the paper since i had done all of the research and writing thus far so that he could put it in his input. Well…a couple days later he still had done nothing to it because he was too “busy” so i was just like, “fine, send what you have worked on back to me and I’ll just do the rest of the paper.” Well, you would think anyone would jump on that opportunity, but no. He “wasn’t near a computer.” I didn’t end up getting the paper until 12:30 am this morning (the day it was due). So, I had to edit, retype it, scan and add the image, input the in-text citations, find 5 more sources to include, and do the works cited. After I had already done all of the research as well. I bet though, if I had become mean with him, he wouldn’t have ever showed up at all. I even offered him a back massage!

My next paper is on religious tolerance and I get to do interviews and stuff. I am sooo excited. you don’t even know.

ABDC CONCERT!!

WOW. What an adrenaline rush. Everything about the show was amazing. The people i went with, the performances, our “hotel”, the car ride… EVERYTHING. We ended up getting there 5 minutes before the show started and missed any chance to meet the crews, but we couldn’t help it. Victoria and I left Muncie right after our 12 o’clock classes and sprinted our asses off to get there on time. It ended up being a 5 hour drive because of a wrong turn, heavy traffic, and construction. Thanks to Tom, we managed to get by. Everyone made Detroit seem like this horrible place, but i never felt unsafe, even as we were doing circles around the city trying to find the Masonic Temple.

The performances in general were exceptional. I pretty much embarrassed the hell out of myself from screaming so loud and dancing along with the crews. lol My friend video taped the whole thing and you could hear me screaming louder than anyone. lol. oh geesh.

Performances

1. Jabbawockeez (They did a wonderful job at working the crowd and staying in synch with each other)

2. ASIID (They brought a lot of energy. If i could choose, i would want to be in their crew because of their dance style.)

3. Super Cr3w (Normally, they would be my favorite, but they made a lot of errors in their performances. Still amazing though.)

High Pt. 1

So, last weekend, I went to my first Ohio State football game! My father and I arrived in Columbus around 9 and then went and walked around the campus. Even that walk was dream-like. First, we went to the stadium and peeked beyond the fence to try and find our spot for the next day. Of course we didn’t see it though. lol. Then, we walked around the sports facility. 5 pools! There ended up being free food and music playing too. It was such a surreal experience. During the entire time I listened to the band played, i looked around at all of the passionate fans i have grown up hours away from and just absorbed every single moment of it.

Apres ca, we headed back to the car and drove through the central campus (more by accident) on our way home. The next day, my dad had me up early and was all ready to go. lol. I rarely get to see him this happy. As we made our walk together, i could barely keep up with him because he was practically running towards the stadium (which was actually a couple miles away from our hotel). We stopped in a Buckeye store and picked up our Laurinaitis jerseys finally.

It was crazy how many companies were giving out stuff all the way there. Its not like it was a huge game. Everyone knew osu would blow Minnesota. The games must make millions of dollars each time. Geico was giving out osu towels to everyone! Definitely grabbed one of those.

Okay, now i’m going to skip some parts because i’m excited to talk about the next part. lol

We arrived at our seats– 10th row right behind the football team. And, guess who was sitting right in front of us? The families of the buckeye players!! I was sitting behind Well’s family, Laurinaitis’s family, Trepasso’s family, and other lesser known families. We were among royalty! Of course, i was too afraid to go meet any of them, but…i was sitting with the families of my favorite players!

James Laurinaitis

I don’t have time to finish, so i’ll be back.
